Assume I receive a 3D scan or imprints. Is the data then given to a computer program that completes the remaining tasks? Although a dentist certifies it, isn’t the software performing all the work here? This takes me to my following query. Since Invisalign is the greatest, I suppose it employs proprietary software; nevertheless, what software is used by the others? Do they both use the same one or do they use separate ones? Do they pay a company that provides them with the software license?
And I’m guessing that getting a 3D scan is far, way better than taking your impressions. Right?
