I didn’t have x-rays, too. That’s why I’m worried. I only did extensive research on aligners after I had them for 2 months. I eventually went to a registered orthodontist to check on the condition of my teeth and they took x-rays.
Do you have an idea how to move a tooth that is ankylosed? One of my teeth hasn’t moved after having aligners for months now.
I think they need to remove some of the bone that surrounds the tooth so it can be moved. I believe it is called osteotomy.
It’s only because of this forum page that I learned that x-rays should be done every 6 months. This helps the dentist have a complete overview of our oral health.
